2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz: The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is all-new for 2024 as a 2025 model year. The ID. Buzz represents the return of the famous VW Bus to the United States, but this time with a fully electric powertrain. The ID. Buzz is an electric car that seats up to 7 passengers and is only offered as a van. It does not currently have any direct competitors.

One trim will be offered at launch, ID. Buzz, though more will follow in the future. One powertrain will be offered: An 86.0-kWh battery pack that can power one or two electric motors depending on trim, offering 282 and 330 horsepower. Driving range is estimated to be around 260 miles. Rear-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Pricing will start around $40,000.
