2025 BMW i5: The BMW i5 represents the long-established BMW 5 Series but in electric form. It sees the addition of a sporty M60 model for 2025. The i5 is a luxury electric car that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door sedan. Competitors include the Tesla Model S, Lucid Motors Air, Porsche Taycan, BMW i7, and Genesis Electrified G80.

Three models are offered: eDrive40, xDrive40, and M60 xDrive. One drivetrain is offered with three different variants: An 84.3-kWh battery pack produces 335 horsepower in the eDrive40, while it produces 389 in the dual-motor xDrive40. Meanwhile, the M60 produces 590 horsepower from the same drivetrain, though it also features two electric motors on the front axle and one in the rear. Driving range varies from 256 to 295 miles. Pricing ranges from $68,000 to $86,000.
