2024 GMC Sierra HD: The GMC Sierra HD gets a styling refresh inside and out, as well as performance enhancements in several trims for 2024. A new front end features a new bumper, grille and LED headlights and tallights, as well as sequential turn signals and animated welcome lighting. The diesel V8 is bumped up to 470 horsepower while hitch towing capacity is now increased to 22,500 pounds. Sierra HD is a heavy-duty truck that seats 5 passengers. Competitors include the Ford F-250 and F-350, Silverado 2500 and 3500, and Ram 2500 and 3500.

There are seven trims available: Sierra HD Pro, SLE, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. Two engines are offered: A 6.6-liter V8 that makes 401 horsepower and pairs to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 6.6-liter Duramax turbo diesel engine that makes 470 horsepower and pairs to a 10-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard with four-wheel drive being optional. Maximum towing capacity is 35,500 pounds. Pricing ranges from $48,000 to $95,000.
