2024 Nissan Ariya Pole to Pole: The Nissan Ariya Pole to Pole is a 4-door, custom-made electric crossover that embarked on an expedition from the North Pole in the Arctic Ocean to the South Pole in Antarctica. With explorers Julie and Chris Ramsey behind the wheel, the duo and their Nissan Ariya traversed over 18,000 miles through some of the harshest terrain in the world. The all-wheel-drive EV was modified for the job and featured enormous 39-inch snow tires, fender flares, and off-road lighting. From extreme altitudes to ever-changing temperatures, and the always complex charging infrastructure, the Ramseys completed their journey in approximately 8 months.
