Mustang Dark Horse is a rear-wheel-drive sports car that seats four passengers and is offered as a 2-door coupe. Competitors include the Chevrolet Camaro SS and Dodge Challenger Hellcat.
The powerful Dark Horse is driven by a Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque that can rev up to its 7,500-rpm redline. It can also be equipped with carbon wheels that have only been featured in select Ford high-performance models before, including the Ford GT. These weigh only 20 pounds per wheel and are 37% lighter than the standard aluminum wheels. Other performance or pricing details have yet to be revealed.
