2024 Toyota Grand Highlander: The Toyota Grand Highlander is all new for 2024 and made its global debut at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show. It is the largest midsize crossover the automaker produces, offering considerably more room for passengers in the second and third rows. It boasts 14 cupholders and 7 charging ports throughout the cabin. Grand Highlander is a three-row SUV that seats 7 or 8 passengers depending on the configuration. Competitors include the Chevrolet Traverse, Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride, Mazda CX-90, Nissan Pathfinder and Volkswagen Atlas. A hybrid variant is also available.
Three trims are offered: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Three engines are available: A turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that produces 265 horsepower, a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder that uses a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and pairs with two electric motors to make 243 total system horsepower, and a turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder hybrid that produces 362 horsepower. Front-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Pricing has yet to be released.
