2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV

2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV: The Chevrolet Silverado EV is an all-new electric pickup that's expected to reach consumers sometime in 2024, though fleet-only work version will be available in late 2023. Silverado EV is a full-size electric truck that can seat up to 5 passengers-the first of its kind by General Motors. Competitors include the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, GMC Sierra EV, and GMC Hummer EV.

Three trims will be offered: 3WT, 4WT, and RST First Edition. One drivetrain is available: A dual-motor setup with four-wheel-drive as standard, producing 510 horsepower on WT models and up to 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque in the RST. Maximum towing capacity is up to 10,000 pounds on RST trim, as well as up to 1,300 pounds of payload capacity. Chevy promises DC fast charging up to 350kW on WT and RST, as well as 0-60 times of less than 4.5 seconds.

Select trims will be equipped with GM's Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous driving system. On specific roads and under certain driving conditions, Super Cruise allows the driver to operate the vehicle "handsfree." The WT trim is for commercial, fleet-only purposes, while Trail Boss and RST models will be for individual consumers. Pricing ranges from $75,000 to $108,000.
