2023 Chevrolet Silverado EV

2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV: The Chevrolet Silverado EV is an all-new electric pickup that’s expected to reach consumers sometime in 2023. Silverado EV is a full-size electric truck that can seat up to 5 passengers—the first of its kind by General Motors. Competitors include the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, and GMC Hummer EV.

Three trims will be offered: WT, Trail Boss, and RST. Only crew cab models will be offered. Full drivetrain details have yet to be released, but Chevy promises up to 400 miles of range on WT and RST trims, as well as up to 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. Maximum towing capacity is expected to be up to 10,000 pounds on RST trim, as well as up to 1,300 pounds of payload capacity. Chevy promises DC fast charging up to 350kW on WT and RST, as well as 0-60 times of less than 4.5 seconds. All specs are estimates and not representative of final production models.

Select trims will be equipped with GM’s Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous driving system. On specific roads and under certain driving conditions, Super Cruise allows the driver to operate the vehicle "hands free.” The WT trim is for commercial, fleet-only purposes, while Trail Boss and RST models will be for individual consumers. Pricing ranges from $45,000 to $105,000
