2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: The Chevrolet Silverado gets minor tweaks for 2024, including new exterior colors, and a new active exhaust system for trucks equipped with the 6.2-liter V8 engine. Silverado 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that's offered in regular cab, double cab and crew cab body styles that seat from 3 to 5 passengers. Competitors include the Ford F-150, GMC Sierra 1500, Nissan Titan, Ram 1500 and Toyota Tundra. An electric variant called Silverado EV is expected to be available in 2024.

Eight trims are offered: WT, Custom, LT, Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, ZR2 Bison, and High Country. Four powertrain combinations are available: A turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder that produces 310 horsepower and pairs with an 8-speed automatic, a 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower that pairs to a 10-speed automatic, and a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbodiesel that makes 277 horsepower and pairs with a 10-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity is 9,700 pounds. Rear- and four-wheel-drive models are offered. Pricing ranges from $38,000 to $70,000.
