2024 Buick Encore GX: The Buick Encore GX gets a makeover inside and out for 2024. The refresh includes new headlights and taillights, a new grille, front and rear bumpers, as well as the first appearance of the updated Buick emblem. Inside, certain trims get an 11-inch infotainment screen, digital gauge cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Encore GX is a subcompact crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Kona, BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
Three trims are available: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenue. Two engines are offered: A 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder that makes 137 horsepower and pairs to a continuously variable automatic transmission, and a 1.3-liter turbo 3-cylinder that makes 155 horsepower and pairs to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Front- and rear-wheel-drive models are offered. Pricing ranges from $27,000 to $34,000.
