2024 BMW i7: The BMW i7 sees the addition of two new trims for 2024, the 650-hp M70 and 449-hp eDrive 50. The i7 is a luxury electric car that seats 4 to 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door sedan. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz EQS, Audi E-Tron GT, Porsche Tacan, Tesla Model S, and Lucid Air.

Three models are offered: The eDrive50, xDrive60, and M70. Two drivetrains are available: A 101.7-kWh battery powers one rear-mounted electric motor and makes 449 hp in the eDrive50, the same battery plus 2 electric motors that produce a total of 536 horsepower in the xDrive60, and 650 hp in the M70. Rear- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Maximum driving range is estimated at 321 miles per single charge. The i7 can do 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds despite its nearly 6,000-pound curb weight. Pricing starts at $170,000.
