Rolls-Royce Ghost: Poised at the very cutting edge of styling, performance, luxury, technology, and comfort is the Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge. It competes with the Mercedes-Benz Maybach, BMW 7-Series, and Bentley Flying Spur.
The Ghost II was crafted with flowing 'yacht lines' and large uninterrupted surfaces, accented by the classic long hood, short overhang and powerful flanks. From the front, the eye is drawn towards the sculpted headlights and the tapered 'wake channel' on the hood, which arises from the Spirit of Ecstasy's wings. Chrome inserts at the front feed more air cooling to the front brakes while adding an elegant touch. These features are married with the Black Badge’s unique carbon fiber wheels.
The Ghost Series II has a satellite-aided transmission that utilizes GPS data to allow the car to see beyond what the driver sees, anticipating their next move based on location and driving style. This instant data helps the eight-speed automatic transmission select the appropriate gear.
Power comes from a 603-horsepower 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which sends 619 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. The coach doors open to reveal an ultra-lux five-passenger cabin.
Available features include instrument panel veneers such as Paldao and Walnut Burr Crossband. Other available features include the aluminum/genuine wood instrument-panel insert, genuine wood door panel insert, leather/genuine wood console insert, chrome and aluminum interior accents, leather upholstered dashboard and aluminum overhead console insert.
