2018 Nissan Versa/Versa Note: Available in sedan and hatchback flavors, the 2018 Nissan Versa is a five-seat subcompact sedan that competes with vehicles such as the Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Sonic, and Hyundai Accent. The hatchback version is called the Versa Note, and new for 2018 they see the addition of keyless access and push-button start.
Both have a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 109 horsepower and pairs to either a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). The Note is only available with the CVT. The Versa and Versa Note are both front-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 27 mpg city/36 mpg highway for the Versa sedan with the five-speed manual and 31/39 for both the sedan and hatchback with CVT.
The Versa is available in S, S Plus, SV, and SV Special Edition, while the Note is available in S, SV, and SR. Available features include satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth, and cruise control.
Available safety features include rearview camera, stability control, traction control, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
