2018 Mazda CX-9

2018 Mazda CX-9: The 2018 Mazda CX-9 is a crossover SUV that seats seven and competes with the Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer, and Honda Pilot in the competitive mid-size crossover class. For 2018 it adds low-speed automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and G-Vectoring Control as standard features.

The CX-9 is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 227 horsepower (250 with premium fuel) and mates to a six-speed automatic transmission. The CX-9 is offered with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy at 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway (20/26 with AWD).

The CX-9 is offered in four trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature. Available features include infotainment system with eight-inch touch screen, navigation system, head-up display, premium audio, leather seats, USB, heated front seats, power liftgate, power sunroof, fog lamps, and tri-zone climate control.

Available safety features include rearview camera, stability control, traction control, radar cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, brake support, lane-keep assist, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
