2018 Lexus RC: The 2018 Lexus RC is a sporty two-door, four-seat coupe that competes with other luxury hot-rods such as the Audi S5 and Cadillac ATS Coupe. For 2018, it sees a five-horsepower increase, a larger navigation screen, a custom programmable driving mode, and a ten-year free trial of Lexus' concierge service. A super-sports version dubbed the RC F is available.
The RC offers four engines: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 241 horsepower, a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 260 horsepower, a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 311 horsepower, and a 5.0-liter V8 that makes 467 horsepower (RC F). The RC is rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available. The rear-wheel drive cars have eight-speed automatic transmissions, while the all-wheel drive ones have six-speed automatics. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 19 mpg city to 32 mpg highway.
The RC is available in five flavors - RC 300, RC 300 F Sport, RC 350, RC 350 F Sport, and RC F. Available features include satellite radio, Bluetooth, USB, navigation, moonroof, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, remote control via app for certain vehicle functions, fog lamps, and F Sport performance package.
Available safety features include pre-collision system, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic detection, front and rear park assist, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, rear-view camera, and dual-front, driver- and passenger-knee, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
