2018 Hyundai Kona: The 2018 Hyundai Kona is an all-new, five-seat compact crossover SUV that competes with the Chevrolet Trax, Toyota CH-R, Ford EcoSport and Mazda CX-3. The Kona promises to be a bold crossover for urban adventurers.
There will be two engines available: A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 147 horsepower, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 175 horsepower. The 2.0-liter is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.6-liter turbocharged features a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Kona will be available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
There will be four trims available: SE, SEL, Limited, and Ultimate. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB port, BlueLink connectivity system, smart cruise control, premium audio, sunroof, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and navigation system.
Available safety features include blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic detection, lane-change assist, lane-departure warning, rearview camera, stability control and traction control.
