2021 Dodge Challenger: The Dodge Challenger gets significant performance upgrades and new trim levels for 2021. Challenger is a sports car that seats 4 passengers and is only available as a 2-door coupe. Competitors include the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang.
Rear-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. There are five main trims: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat. Engine choices include a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 303 horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 that makes 400 horsepower, a 6.4-liter V8 that makes 485 horsepower, a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that makes 717 horsepower and a high-performance version of that engine that makes 797 horsepower. Two transmissions are offered: A 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic. For 2021, there's a further evolution of the Hellcat engine that makes 807 horsepower in the new SRT Super Stock, which is a street-legal drag racer.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights.
