Acura

Acura, the luxury and performance division of Honda, was launched on March 27, 1986. It became the first Japanese luxury car brand to enter the market and quickly set itself apart with high-quality, precision-engineered vehicles like the Integra and Legend. Acura debuted in the U.S. and Canada and expanded to several other markets, although its introduction to Japan was delayed due to the 2007–2008 financial crisis. The success of its initial models inspired other Japanese car manufacturers, like Toyota and Nissan, to create their own luxury divisions, Lexus and Infiniti. Acura continued to innovate with models such as the mid-engine NSX sports car and the three-row MDX SUV, enhancing its reputation for performance and reliability.
