2019 Lincoln Continental: The 2019 Lincoln Continental is a 5-seat luxury car that’s only available as a 4-door sedan. Only all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Volvo S90, Acura RLX, Cadillac CT6, and Genesis G90. For 2019 the Continental gains new high-tech safety features, and the addition of an all-new Coach Edition with “suicide style” doors.
There are three available engines: A 3.7-liter V6 that makes 305 horsepower, a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 335 horsepower, and a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 400 horsepower. All pair with a 6-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 16 mpg city to 25 mpg highway.
There are five different trims available: Premiere, Select, Reserve, Black Label, and Coach Edition. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated and cooled front seats, navigation, premium audio, USB, satellite radio, Sync 3, heated steering wheel, power sunroof, smart cruise control, and a hands-free power trunk release and closing. Safety features include blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic detection, rearview camera, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and LED headlights.
New features for 2019 includes active safety features like automatic emergency braking, active lane control, and blind-spot monitors standard. The Coach Edition is limited to only 80 samples and prospective buyers will have to apply to be able to purchase.
