2018 Volvo XC90: The 2018 Volvo XC90 is a seven-passenger, three-row, luxury crossover SUV that competes with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Jaguar F-Pace, and Audi Q7. For 2018, it sees the addition of a semi-autonomous drive system, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert, retractable side mirrors, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto as standard features.
There are three available engines: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower, a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 316 horsepower, and a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder plug-in hybrid that makes 400 horsepower. Available transmissions include an eight-speed automatic, and the XC90 is available with front- or all-wheel drive. Towing capacity ranges from 4,000 to 5,000 pounds depending on equipment configuration.
The 2018 Volvo XC90 is offered in five different trims: Momentum, R-Design, Inscription, and Excellence.
