2018 Volvo XC60: The 2018 Volvo XC60 is a luxury crossover SUV that competes with compact crossovers like the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC. The XC60 is all-new for 2018, and it boasts the brand's new design language that was introduced with the bigger, more expensive XC90.
The XC60 utilizes one engine with multiple adaptations, such as the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower, a turbocharged and supercharged version that makes 316 horsepower, and a plug-in hybrid variant that is also turbocharged and supercharged that makes 400 horsepower. All engine configurations mate to eight-speed automatic transmissions, and the XC60 is offered with all-wheel drive only. EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway for the non-hybrid engines, and 26/28 for the electrified powertrains.
