2018 Chevrolet Equinox: The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is redesigned, gaining new looks inside and out, new engines, new connectivity features, and new safety features. The Equinox accommodates five passengers and competes with the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5.
There are three engines to choose from: A 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 170 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 252 horsepower and a 1.6-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder that makes 137 horsepower. All mate to six-speed automatic transmissions. The Equinox offers front- or all-wheel drive.
There are four different trims available: L, LS, LT, and Premier. Available features include infotainment, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE in-car wi-fi, OnStar, remote start, leather seats, heated seats and steering wheel, satellite radio, etc.
Available safety features include 360-degree camera, teen-driver monitoring, forward-collision alert, low-speed forward automatic braking, lane-change alert, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.
