2018 Cadillac Escalade: The 2018 Cadillac Escalade is the luxury brand's full-size SUV. It's meant to compete with the Infiniti QX80, Lincoln Navigator and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. The Escalade sees minor changes for 2018, including a new 10-speed automatic transmission and new interior and exterior color options. The Escalade ESV version is 14 inches longer than the standard trim.
There's one engine: A 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 that mates to the new 10-speed automatic transmission. The Escalade is available with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, with fuel economy ranging from 15 mpg city to 22 mpg highway, depending on drivetrain layout.
There are four trims available: Base, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. Convenience available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rear camera mirror, infotainment system, premium audio and 4G LTE hotspot.
Available safety features include the standard suite of airbags as well as head-curtain and side-impact, automatic parking assist, 360-degree camera, lane-keep assist, blind-spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control.
