2018 Acura NSX: The 2018 Acura NSX is the brand's two-seat halo sports car. It resurrects a '90s icon in a modern package, with supercar styling and a new twin-turbocharged V-6 aided by electric-drive motors. It competes against vehicles such as the Nissan GT-R, Audi R8, BMW i8, and Porsche 911.
The NSX features a rear-mounted 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 500 horsepower, in addition to a direct-drive electric motor that boosts acceleration and recharges the hybrid powertrain system. In the front, two electric motors independently drive the front wheels. A nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission routes the power to all four wheels, rendering the NSX an all-wheel drive, hybrid sports car. Total horsepower output is 573 with 476 pound-feet of torque, and fuel economy is EPA-rated at 21 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.
Available comfort and convenience features include four different driving modes, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation system, dual-zone climate control, premium audio, satellite radio, heated seats, 7-inch touchscreen, power seats, keyless entry with push-button start, 12-volt outlet, two USB ports, Bluetooth, carbon-fiber roof, carbon-fiber engine cover, carbon-fiber rear spoiler, carbon-ceramic brake rotors.
Available safety features include a rearview camera, dual-front, side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags with rollover sensor, stability control, traction control, ABS with brake assist and electronic brake distribution, and front and rear parking sensors.
