Watch out, world! Chrysler unveiled the brand new 2014 Ram Commercial ProMaster during the Media Preview at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Ram and Fiat have joined forces to expand their market, and offer a new lineup to various businesses across the globe.
Taking cues from the Fiat Ducato, the 2014 Ram Promaster offers the first six-speed automated manual transmission with high-tech software to battle a variety of road conditions. Its powertrain features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 280 horsepower, or a 3-liter 4-cylinder EcoDiesel engine rated at 174 horsepower. Impressively, the EcoDiesel also has an 18,500 mile oil-change interval.
The 2014 Ram Promaster is customizable and will include more than 35 safety features. A new feature, Uconnect, will offer drivers a hands-free text-reply feature and a global positioning satellite to provide time-saving routes. Ram is making a huge presence in the commercial truck market.
