Chevrolet Brings Back the Diesel

Posted by: Monica Gostkiewicz

Chevrolet launched the all-new 2014 Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview. This is Chevy's first diesel vehicle in nearly 30 years!

A small car look with fast car speed is the perfect description for the new member to the Chevy team. Sporting an estimated 42 mph highway EPA rating, the Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel is the cleanest diesel passenger car that General Motors will have ever produced.

With a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and 148 horsepower, the Cruze can reach 0 to 60 mph in a mere 6.8 seconds! Eco-friendly is the Cruze's second name as it has an onboard urea injection system to filter the emissions clean. One urea tank will allow the driver to cruise for about 10,000 miles.
