Hyundai Racing Challenge

Hyundai is putting auto show attendees on the hot seat and giving them the chance to win prizes by participating in the Hyundai Racing Challenge at the Chicago Auto Show. Anyone 18 years and older can get behind the virtual wheel of the 2015 Genesis Coupe in a single elimination tournament to race for the chance to win a PlayStation 4.
Last year, Hyundai brought two of its Gran Turismo 6 game sleds for contestants to race around the track, but they were not racing each other. This year, the South Korean automaker upped its game by bringing four side-by-side simulators to the exhibit. Hyundai have two single elimination tournaments everyday, at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Preliminary rounds last three hours and also allow people of all ages to give the game a spin. Those that are 18 years or older and fall into the top 16 times are invited back to play it out for first, second, third and fourth place prizes. Winners receive a PlayStation 4, a $50 GameStop gift card, a Team Hyundai hat, and a water bottle respectively.
When not during elimination round hours, contestants of all ages are welcome to try out the Hyundai Racing Challenge. Contestants are encouraged to take an Instaprint photo from anywhere on the Chicago Auto Show floor and post it to social media using #HyundaiRacingChallenege. Within one minute, the thumbnail size photo will be printed on special paper, giving people a sticker photo to remember their time at the Chicago Auto Show.
