Chicago Auto Show Blog

Walking through the doors of the Communications Department as a freshman, the Chicago Auto Show internship was all I heard about. I remember looking up in awe at the upperclassmen that were chosen to partake in such an amazing opportunity, and hoping for the day I would get my chance. Growing up in the Chicago area, with grandfathers who worked in automotive, the Chicago Auto Show has always been part of my life. Having the opportunity to intern for the 2016 show is a dream come true. 

 

Every year the show outdoes itself; every year my jaw drops down farther and farther. After years of seeing the show from the consumer side, I am looking forward to helping the media team behind the scenes and creating lifelong memories that I will take with me and cherish for the rest of my life. It is an incredible feeling to be a part of something as grand and extravagant as the Chicago Auto Show. I look forward to making an impact.
