Acura’s 3D World

Posted by: Thomas Bunch

The Acura display at the Chicago Auto Show boasts an interactive 3D experience. The table-mounted display highlights the safety features of the Japanese luxury brand’s vehicles including; precision all-wheel steer, jewel LED headlights, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control with low speed follow, collision mitigating braking system, and sport hybrid super handling all-wheel drive.

Each of these safety features is complimented by a short video detailing the specifics of the vehicle features. Dragging the appropriate tile to the top of the touch screen can start the videos, and you can use your hand as a motion controller to “explore” the videos.

3D viewing is becoming more popular every year, with the trend of 3D movies still going strong and the increase in 3D televisions in the homes of the USA. Acura is giving a good example of how to best use the technology that is available to us today, to create a more interesting future.
