'tis the season!

Land Rover EvoqueWith an exciting lineup of new concept cars and production models, auto shows around the globe are set to show off the best the automotive industry has to offer.  From Paris to Chicago, nothing tops the excitement of an exclusive debut--and because Midwestern auto lovers may not be able to go to Paris, the Chicago Auto Show is bringing a bit of Paris to the Midwest. 

As the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient Land Rover ever produced, the Evoque is slated to premier at the Paris Motor Show this October.  Bidding farewell to the "bigger is better" attitude, the Evoque's global debut says hello to more than efficiency, luxury, technology and design.  It proudly invites auto aficionados to say "HELLO!" to the 2011 Auto Show Season!

As seen to the right, the Evoque has a unique and luxurious coupe design that has a compact footprint and a bold exterior. Taking the Range Rover to a higher level of automobile efficiency and craftsmanship, the Evoque will be offered in three design themes--Pure, Prestige and Dynamic.  Range Rover's Evoque is all terrain capable with a turbocharged engine that blends four-cylinder efficiency with six-cylinder refinement and power.

Land Rover EvoqueMore than just a pretty face, the Evoque will feature innovative Range Rover technologies, including an eight-inch touch screen display and Surround Camera System.  The intuitive control system and display will offer drivers a stylish, uncluttered layout with state-of-the-art functionality.  And, the icing on this already delicious piece of cake, the Range Rover Evoque is the first Range Rover model to offer a new sound system developed in partnership with the high-end audio specialist Meridian.  The system is boasts 825 watts and 17 speakers.

Additional features available in the Range Rover Evoque include:

  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Hard drive navigation system
  • FM/AM/Sirius tuners, with single CD player with the ability to rip CDs to the hard drive
  • Rear seat entertainment package, with 8-inch (203mm) video screens, digital wireless headphones and touch screen remote control
  • Keyless entry system
  • Powered tailgate
  • Adaptive headlamps with auto headlamp dipping
  • Heated windshield, front seats and steering wheel
