Kia Introduces Refreshed Sportage during the
Chicago Auto Show Media Preview

CHICAGO (Feb. 7, 2019) – Kia Motors America unveiled the 2020 Kia Sportage during the 2019 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview on Feb. 7. As one of Kia’s smallest SUVs, the refreshed 2020 Sportage is a compact SUV boasting a bold new look, a new S trim, more convenience and driver-assist features and a standard 8-inch touchscreen.

Slight exterior alternations are added to the 2020 Sportage model including refreshed headlight design with available LED lighting and a new chrome strip divides the redesigned fog lights.

Interior features include safety and convenience technology driver assistance systems like driver attention warning system, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and high-beam assist.   Additional features include an 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto integration and a wireless charging tray.

A new metallic Steel Gray color joins the Kia Sportage lineup. The 2020 Sportage will be offered in trim levels LX, SX and EX, in addition to a new sporty S model.

The 2020 Kia Sportage will go on sale during in the first half of 2019; Kia will announce pricing closer to this on-sale date.
