WHAT: The Chicago Police Department and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation have a booth at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show and will unveil the new Chicago Police squad car design to the public. The new design was created by a Chicago Police Officer and was selected by a panel of Police Officers and community members.

WHO: Chief of Patrol Fred Waller, Deputy Chief Wayne Betts, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Director of Operations Frank Gross, Chicago Police command staff, as well as uniformed Chicago Police Officers.

*** All press attending this unveiling must be credentialed through the Chicago Auto Show and therefore must first go to the Media Center at N426 at the entrance in McCormick Place. Please bring your Chicago Police issued credentials and allow time for credentialing as this venue is run by the Chicago Auto Show and not the Chicago Police Department. Again, all members of the media need to visit the Media Center at N426 in McCormick Place if they are planning to attend the unveiling. ***
