Jerry Haggerty of Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet Elected to Chicago Automobile Trade Association Board of Directors

 

Jerry Haggerty, owner of Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet, was recently elected to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) board of directors.

“I have spent my entire career in the automobile industry,” said Haggerty. “Being a member of this prestigious board will allow me work with and learn from some of the brightest minds in our industry today. I am committed to working as hard as I can as a board member to support and represent the interests of all dealers who are members of the CATA.”

Haggerty, born in Evergreen Park and currently a resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, has been working in the auto industry his entire life. He became owner of Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet in 1992. He is the president of the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevrolet Dealers local marketing association and has four children. 

An alumnus of Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, Illinois, Haggerty attended St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. He is a longtime member of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, and supporter of organizations such as The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn, The B.R. Ryall YMCA, The Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company, The Wheaton Park District, and VFW Post 2801. Additionally, Haggerty also gives to numerous charities including Susan G Komen for The Cure, Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, Pat Mac’s Pack (provides funding for pediatric brain tumor research), and The Children's Place Association.
