FIRST-EVER FIRST RESPONDERS AND MILITARY AT CHICAGO AUTO SHOW

Tomorrow, Feb. 15, Chicago Auto Show organizers will host a First Responders and Military Appreciation Day for the first time. On this day, all first responders (police officers, EMTs, paramedics and firefighters) and U.S. Military (veterans or active duty) will receive a complimentary admission when they present their badge or military ID. Moreover, guests who accompany first responders or military personnel will receive a voucher for $5 off an adult admission.

"Our intent with introducing this new First Responders and Military Appreciation Day is to showcase our deep appreciation and gratitude for the people who put themselves on the frontlines as they carry out these critical roles in our society and world," said Chicago Auto Show Chairman Bill Haggerty. "In the midst of a global pandemic, and always, we want to send an important message to the men and women who keep us all safe, even if it means putting their own lives at risk. We hope they can escape to the Chicago Auto Show for a few hours - or the entire day! - and experience an enjoyable day out with family or friends."

First responders and military personnel who attend on. Feb. 15 should visit the Grand Concourse Ticket Lobby to check in, show their badge or ID and pick up a voucher for $5 off the general admission for any family and friends who join them.

The 2022 Chicago Auto Show features six indoor test tracks from manufacturers including two from Ford, Jeep, Ram, Toyota and a brand-new EV track. In addition, outdoor test drive opportunities will be offered by Ford, Kia and Subaru for plenty of chances for attendees to get behind the wheel and experience the latest vehicles and technology.

"We're thankful to welcome fans back this February for 10 days of back-to-back entertainment," said Chicago Auto Show General Manager Dave Sloan. "We're exceptionally proud to offer complimentary admission to first responders and military personnel as a small gesture of 'thanks.'"
