Chicago Auto Show Blog

Come one, Come all ...

After an entourage of men, including Governor Quinn opened the doors to the Chicago Auto Show, during its ceremonial ribbon cutting. You could see streams of public heading into the show, like kids on the playground. Last night during the First Look for Charity, I fell in love with two cars. Some might guess the Mazda Miata or a BMW Z4, but rather I was looking into vehicles that would be good for first time buyers, and new college grads. My picks were the Smart coupe, and the Suzuki Crossover. When I was in the Smart car exhibit, I saw two women taking off their shoes and giggling as they started to run towards the shared-media stage. Later finding out that one of them just had won a new Chevrolet Comaro. This show preparation has been a one of a kind experience. The show floor is ready for Chicago, and for people to experience what it has to offer. The interns are preparing to depart the show, but first we have been compiling lists of best concept cars and interactive elements of the show. These are going to be available to to public very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. « Last Post Next Post »
