Chicago Auto Show Partners with Comcast for Third Consecutive Year
The Chicago Auto Show, which runs Feb. 10-19 at McCormick Place, announced today that it’s partnering with Comcast to offer show attendees an engaging onsite experience and the chance to win prizes by participating in the #XFINITYFast social media challenge. This year marks the third consecutive year that Comcast has partnered with the Chicago Auto Show.
Comcast’s XFINITY Lounge will be located just outside the North Hall. Throughout the course of the show, Comcast will demonstrate its X1 TV viewing experience, including the XFINITY Stream app, which lets customers watch up to 200 live channels and 40,000 On Demand Choices when they’re on-the-go, as well as download movies and TV shows to take with them. In addition, Comcast encourages fans to share pictures of their dream cars with #XFINITYFast for the chance to win exclusive prizes and experiences throughout the run of the show.
“Social media is a key vehicle we utilize to engage with our fans throughout the show and, frankly, all year long,” said Chicago Auto Show Chairman John Hennessy. “We look forward to building upon our established partnership with Comcast and providing exciting ways to interact with our fans – both on the show floor and through social media.”
The Chicago Auto Show encourages attendees to visit the XFINITY Lounge to learn more about the company’s products and services and the #XFINITYFast social media contest.
“Comcast is proud to sponsor the Chicago Auto Show for the third year in a row,” said Comcast’s Greater Chicago Region Senior Vice President John Crowley. “Comcast delivers innovative XFINITY products and services that allow customers to take their favorite content with them on-the-go, along with super-fast Internet speeds. To help visitors make that connection, we’re providing them with special access to the fastest cars on exhibit at the show.”
The show is open daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Feb. 10-19, with the exception of Monday, Feb. 19, when the doors close at 8 p.m.
