CHEVROLET REVEALS 2021 EQUINOX AT THE CHICAGO AUTO SHOW

 

Chevrolet introduced the refreshed 2021 Equinox during the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. The Chevrolet Equinox - the General Motor's best-selling SUV and second best-selling vehicle overall - now has a sportier, updated look, additional available safety features and a new RS trim.

With redesigned front and rear fascias, new LED headlamps, and a more aggressive grille, the 2021 Equinox sports an updated façade. Supported powertrain comprises of 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter turbo engines mated to 6- or 9-speed auto transmissions. Front- or all-wheel-drive versions are offered. 

The 2021 Equinox offers a robust suite of safety and driver assistance technologies. Key standard safety features include: Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Vision Camera, Following Distance Indicator, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, IntelliBeam Headlamps and Forward Collision Alert. In addition, available safety and driver assistance features include: HD Surround Vision Camera System, Camera-based Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Parking Assist, Safety Alert Seat, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Part Assist, Rear Park Assist and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert.

Equinox RS
A sporty, street-inspired look wraps the all-new Equinox RS trim with gloss black grille, 19" Dark Android wheels, black bowties, black badging, black side rails, RS shift knob, eye-catching red stitching and black interior upholstery.

Equinox Premier
High-end upgrades to the Equinox include: gloss black grille with chrome inserts, LED headlamps and taillamps, new 19" machine faced wheel, logo projection lift gate, French stitching on interior and high black gloss finish on the console.

The 2021 Chevrolet Equinox will be available in fall of 2020. The vehicle will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 8-17, at McCormick Place.
