Rose Mayo is a senior Public Relations major with French and Photography minors at Bradley University, where she is also completing their global scholars program. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Rose had never been to Illinois before beginning college but is now looking forward to pursuing jobs in the Chicago area after graduation. She has been a lifeguard and water safety instructor with the City of Des Moines since 2005. Her hobbies and groups over the years have included Chi Omega Sorority, Public Relations Student Society of America, swimming, water polo, dance and photography. She also has a passion for music and has managed local bands, along with volunteering for the Des Moines Music Coalition, the organization responsible for the Midwest’s latest summer music festival, 80/35.
