In a typical year, automotive manufacturers traditionally unveil their latest and greatest models surrounding or during an auto show. However, due to the current state, carmakers are forced to “pull the sheet” off of new vehicles virtually, whether that’s through YouTube, Zoom or during a World Series commercial. While these virtual announcements certainly offer the public a front-seat glimpse at the newest sheet metal to soon hit the street, one could argue that they still can’t replace the tangible experience that an auto show provides.

The only auto manufacturing plant located within the city limits is Ford's Chicago Assembly Plant on Torrance Ave. Ford broke ground on that plant 100 years ago and, over the years, the plant has produced some of the company's most iconic vehicles including the Model T, Model A, Thunderbird, Taurus and today's Ford Explorer.

FCA Midwest Vehicle Tour Showcases Latest and Greatest

Nissan Announces 2020 Frontier Pricing

This week, Nissan announced pricing for the refreshed-for-2020 Nissan Frontier, which was first unveiled this past February during the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. Pricing starts at $26,790 for the Frontier S King Cab 4x2 model and ranges up to $37,490 for the top-line model, the Frontier PRO-4X Crew Cab 4x4. Across the model lineup, the 2020 prices represent an average increase of less than $2,000 from 2019.

Subaru Partners with Feeding America During COVID-19 Crisis
