Throw Back Thursday: Alfa Romeo

Posted by: Sierra Buechler

While many of the displays found at the Chicago Auto Show focus on future of the automotive industry, Alfa Romeo paid tribute to their past.

Large screens positioned on opposite sides of the display showcase the evolution of Alfa Romeo.  “The future belongs to those who have a great history” frames the top of a screen.  Car enthusiasts may already be aware of Alfa Romeo’s origins, but those less familiar with the brand will quickly understand their strong racing roots.  Visitors can interact with a timeline of Alfa Romeo’s models starting in the 1920s and continuing to current models.

Along the bottom of the screen (pictured above) is a split image of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and 4C.  The popular 33 Stradale was produced in 1967 during the “glory years” of Alfa Romeo.  The 4C is Alfa Romeo’s newest production.  The cohesive designs exemplify Alfa Romeo’s dedication to their past while advancing into the future.
