Subaru’s Mix & Match Tunes lets you make your own music – combining vocals, tunes, bass, and rhythms. Each selection you make is accompanied by an adorable small animal that jumps on stage and dances as you add each one into the mix. So by the end of your creation, you have a short music video of animals dancing on the screen as your customized tune plays for all to hear. You even get to make your own DJ name!
After you’re done enjoying your tune, you’re more than welcome to download it and take it home with you to enjoy.
Mix & Match Tunes features Harman Kardon Premium Audio system which is a part of many Subaru vehicles including the Forester, Legacy, Outback, WRX, and WRX STI.
Talking to a Subaru representative, she said that the reason behind bringing this interactive to the Chicago Auto Show was that they “wanted to find a fun and interactive way to display their state-of-the-art sound systems in a way that appealed to a large audience.”
She said that she’s noticed all age groups using and having fun with the tunes. “The older parents get creative with the various sound combinations and the kids are having a dance party around them and the whole family is having fun!”
