Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, in partnership with the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, will host the annual Dennis Buckley Memorial Blood Drive during the Chicago Auto Show, held February 7–16, 2026, at McCormick Place.
The blood drive honors Dennis Buckley, a longtime Chicago Auto Show leader and passionate advocate for blood donation, who passed away from cancer in 2004.
Blood Drive Details
- Dates: February 7–16, 2026
- Hours: Daily from 10 a.m. until two hours before the show closes
- Location: Chicago Auto Show, McCormick Place
- Onsite Donation Site: 40-foot Versiti mobile coach bus located in the Versiti booth on the show floor
Donor Appointments

Walk-in donors are welcome.
Donor Requirements
- 16-year-olds may donate with parental consent
- Valid, government-issued photo ID is required
- Anyone 17 or older who is in general good health and meets eligibility requirements is encouraged to donate
