Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, in partnership with the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, will host the annual Dennis Buckley Memorial Blood Drive during the Chicago Auto Show, held February 13-21, 2027, at McCormick Place.
The blood drive honors Dennis Buckley, a longtime Chicago Auto Show leader and passionate advocate for blood donation, who passed away from cancer in 2004.
Blood Drive Details
- Dates: February 13–21, 2027
- Hours: Daily from 10 a.m. until two hours before the show closes
- Location: Chicago Auto Show, McCormick Place
- Onsite Donation Site: 40-foot Versiti mobile coach bus located in the Versiti booth on the show floor
Walk-in donors are welcome.
Donor Requirements
- 16-year-olds may donate with parental consent
- Valid, government-issued photo ID is required
- Anyone 17 or older who is in general good health and meets eligibility requirements is encouraged to donate
