2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport: The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is all-new for 2024, featuring new styling inside and out, new technology, and a new powertrain. The exterior design is modern and more sporty than the outgoing model, while the interior is now more refined and features a new 12-inch infotainment screen, virtual cockpit, and wireless charging. The VR6 6-cylinder engine is also replaced with a 4-cylinder turbo. The Atlas is a midsize three-row crossover that seats 7 passengers and is only available as a 4-door "coupe" wagon. Competitors include the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer and Honda Pilot.

Six are available: SE, SE with Tech, Peak Edition with Tech, SEL, Peak Edition SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line. One engine is offered: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 269 horsepower. It pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Pricing ranges from $39,000 to $54,000.
