Chrysler Group LLC to Showcase Live, Mobile TV at Chicago Auto Show
Mopar is channeling live, mobile TV into Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles. The company will showcase its new technology at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show.
Chrysler Group LLC is the first automaker in the United States to offer live, mobile TV to consumers. The system offers something for everyone: college and professional sports, breaking news, children’s shows, primetime sitcoms, reality TV and daytime dramas.
“We are the first automaker in the United States to offer live, mobile TV in more than 100 metropolitan markets,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and Chief Executive Officer - Mopar Service, Parts and Customer Care, Chrysler Group LLC. “Live, mobile TV gives our customers the ultimate in entertainment and it’s a great example of how Mopar adds value to our Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram brands.

Camp Jeep® Returns to Chicago Auto Show
Jeep® is bringing Camp Jeep, a unique driving experience, to consumers attending the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place.

Annual Chicago Auto Show Food Drive gets a boost from Chrysler
More than 40 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram dealerships in the Chicagoland area will be collecting canned food donations beginning February 1, 2010 in collaboration with the 2010 Chicago Auto Show Food Drive to benefit A Safe Haven Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting people in crisis and transition.

FORD TO BRING NEXT-GENERATION FORD EXPLORER, 1,200 JOBS TO CHICAGO MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
Ford Motor Company today announced it will produce the next-generation Ford Explorer SUV at the company’s Chicago Assembly Plant beginning in the fourth quarter of this year.
Ford is investing nearly $400 million in its Chicago manufacturing facilities to launch production of the new, fuel-efficient Ford Explorer. The company also will add 1,200 new jobs to staff a second production shift at Chicago Assembly Plant and increase production at the nearby Chicago Stamping Plant.
