Michelle Ferm is the Communications Specialist for the Chicago Automobile Trade Association and for the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Since she grew up attending the Chicago Auto Show and also other car shows, she is excited to be a part of this team.

Michelle is a Chicago native who graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Media Studies.  Previous to this she interned at NBC with Lisa Parker in the investigative unit where she gathered information for news worthy news stories and also wrote web content.  She also interned at the news desk at CBS where she conducted interviews (including Apolo Ohno) for news segments and received news tips for potential stories. Interning in the Promotions Department for 93.9 Clear Channel Radio she hosted events to promote "The Lite 93.9" and updated the website with creative photo albums.

Growing up, Michelle watched her dad collect vintage cars from Jaguars to Saabs. This is what made her have an appreciation for automobiles.

In her free time she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and running. She ran the Chicago Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon in the summer and finished with a 2 hour and 30 minute time.
