Bright Lights, Shiny Cars, and Big Displays

I didn't know where to rest my eyes after turning the corner and seeing the show 
floor for the very first time. My name is Haley. I'm an intern from Bradley University helping the social media team capture some of the show's greatest moments. So far, there have been plenty. As a small town girl with minimal knowledge about the car industry, I really didn't know what to expect while being a part of the nation's largest auto show for consumer shopping. Let's just say, I never stopped learning since I arrived!
The show has experiences for everyone: the experts, the newcomers, the family-oriented, the adrenaline-junkies and the just plain curious. With nearly 1,000 beautiful makes and models on display, McCormick Place makes the perfect home for this historical event. The show also sports several automotive accessories, retail merchandise and interactive exhibits.
My favorite part of the internship was mingling with the attendees. Everyone was having a blast, and it was an honor to be a part of it. Together, the #SOCIALSQUAD helps run the Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat accounts. Snapchat was really big this year...Not only were there constant updates available by following us, but there were also frequent chances to win big prizes like free tickets, a Shell gas gift card, access to the Super Car Gallery and lots of FREE SWAG!
