2014 LINCOLN MKX: A stand out in the premium midsize utility segment at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show is the updated Lincoln MKX. For the 2014 model year, MKX is available with a new Limited Edition Package that complements a stable of industry-first, technology-driven comfort and safety features. Standard with 18-inch wheels, MKX is also available with 20- and 22-inch polished aluminum wheels for a sportier look and improved handling. Every Lincoln MKX is equipped with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that delivers 18 mpg in the city, 26 mpg highway and 305 horsepower on front-wheel drive models. Maximum tow rating is 3500 pounds. The 2014 MKX is available in two new exterior colors: Platinum Dune Tri-Coat and Sunset Metallic. Among the many safety and security features are AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, Belt-Minder, Personal Safety System seat belt pretensioners, and an SOS post-crash alert systems. When equipped with SYNC/MyLincoln Touch, vehicle occupants receive the most updated version of the voice-activated, touch-screen driver-connect system. Lincoln MKX offers an array of standard features that are often optional among luxury competitors, including heated and cooled seats, MyKey, and Intelligent Access with push-button start and Remote Start System. The five-passenger cabin can be converted into a cargo vehicle, with up to 68.6 cu. ft. of room behind the front seat.
