The 2022 Chicago Auto Show is now underway. The 114th edition of the Chicago Auto Show is officially open to the public today through Monday, Feb. 21, Presidents Day, at McCormick Place. CHICAGO AUTO SHOW RETURNS TO FEBRUARY FOR ITS 114TH EDITION

Automotive manufacturers, exhibitors and enthusiasts from all over the world are revving up for the 2022 Chicago Auto Show, to take place Feb. 12-21 at McCormick Place. The show is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, except for the final day of the show (Presidents Day) when it closes at 8 p.m. Tickets for the public show are now available for purchase online at ChicagoAutoShow.com.

Midwest Automotive Media Association Awards 2022 Kia Carnival as Family Vehicle of the Year and 2022 Genesis GV70 as Luxury Family Vehicle of the Year

The Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA) named the 2022 Kia Carnival as its 12th annual Family Vehicle of the Year, and the 2022 Genesis GV70 as the winner of the fourth annual Luxury Family Vehicle of the Year award during the Media Preview of the 2022 Chicago Auto Show. To qualify for the award, vehicles must have four doors and be new or significantly updated within the past year.

Hyundai Uses Chicago Auto Show to Announce New Safety Test and Investigation Laboratory Facility

Today, Hyundai announced the establishment of a Safety Test and Investigation Laboratory (STIL) at its Michigan-based research and development center, Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI). The new facility will further augment existing safety testing and analysis. A field crash investigation lab, high voltage battery lab, forensics lab, 500m track and a Vehicle Dynamics Area (VDA) pad is scheduled to be operational fall of 2023.
