    The Silver Jubilee Tower dominated the 1925 Chicago Auto Show, and reached upward to the ceiling inside the two-story Coliseum, Depicted on the sides of the structure was the history of transportation; 360 multicolored floods of light flashed on and off, and a chamber hidden in the tower held an orchestra, which broadcasted music throughout the building.

    Advertised as "The Smartest Car on the Highway," and the "Most Popular Car at the Show," the Velie-Bell Company was very proud of its 1925 Velie Model 60 Delux Sedan. The mid-priced Velie was produced in Moline, Illinois, from 1909 through 1929. On the right, Chevrolet was closing in on sales leader Ford by the mid-1920s, and publicized just how popular the car was in the brief but powerful newspaper advertisement from January 1925.
