Chevy Hosts Safe Kids Event This Weekend

Chevrolet and Safe Kids Chicago are participating in National Child Passenger Safety Week and Seat-Check Saturday by 
hosting a local public event this Saturday, September 21.
The event will feature national Safe Kids spokesperson and certified expert Wes Bender who will offer tips on how to keep kids safe in the car by ensuring proper car seat installation. Additionally, families are encouraged to bring car seats in their vehicles as certified child passenger safety technicians will be available for one-on-one seat checks and installation assistance. Kid-friendly activities will also be offered to entertain the little ones while mom and dad pick up some safety tips.
Motor vehicle crashes are the number one cause of death among children ages 1 to 19 and 73 percent of car seats are not installed correctly or even used at all. We commend Chevrolet for participating in programs such as Safe Kids to help spread kid safety awareness.
When: Saturday, September 21 at 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A brief presentation with child safety tips will begin at 10:30.
