Toyota's 100 Cars for Good Voting Opens Today

Last February at the Chicago Auto Show, Toyota announced the continuation of its philanthropic 100 Cars for Good program. Today at 9 a.m. voting opened and Toyota will award 100 cars to 100 nonprofits over the course of 100 consecutive days. Winners will be selected each day through public voting on Facebook at www.100carsforgood.com.

If you happened by the Ford Exhibit at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, no doubt you saw the F-550 Super Duty Rescue Truck. After a flurry of tornadoes devastated the Dallas area on April 3, Ford pressed the Rescue Truck into service.

Big Apple makes big splash

The New York Auto Show kicked off this past weekend and featured an unexpected number of new-product reveals. Several automakers chose the last major show of the season to preview all-new midsize sedans, but the talk of the show was undoubtedly the new Viper. No longer called a Dodge, the SRT Viper is lighter, more powerful and promises to be faster than its predecessor.
